We offer a multidisciplinary approach and client-centered care for various musculoskeletal injuries ranging from sport-related injuries, workplace injuries and motor vehicle accidents, and post-surgical conditions.

The anticipated schedule for this position is Mon-Friday daytime. The ideal candidate will have 12 months + experience in a Return to Work position.

In this role you will :

• Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments in collaboration with the Physiotherapist
• Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
• Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and / or work hardening programs
• Perform reassessment of client progress through functional testing
• Provide regular education sessions to clients
• Ensure return to work plans with client and employer have been made and documented in the client chart

Qualifications :

• Completed a bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics, Kinesiology, or Exercise Science
• Field-related experience not a strict requirement but sound understanding of anatomy and exercise physiology to be the foundation for further training.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoys working with people
• Additional consideration given to candidates with experience or competencies in customer service, personal training, social media, other skills that are useful for a growing small business
• Field related experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation clinic considered an asset
