The successful candidate would be responsible for the management of property and business claims involving hazardous materials, interior air quality issues, water losses and other chemical, physical and biohazardous risks.
Responsibilities :
Responsible for related commercial and residential claims including, but not limited to : designated substance survey;
asbestos assessment and abatement;; mold and water damage assessment and abatement, interior air quality assessments. and Illicit substance testing and clandestine lab remediation
- Technical report writing and peer review of other hygiene team members
- Communication and relationship development with clients
- Establishment and adherence to budgets and timelines
- Risk assessment and problem solving
- Coordination and planning of medium to large scale abatement projects alongside contractors and stakeholders
- Participate in client presentations and promotional activities
- Develop and maintain industry leading service levels.
- Knowledge of the insurance industry is an asset.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Successful and proven project management experience in relevant industry (hygiene, restoration, technical consulting)
- Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and collaboration software
- University degree or college diploma in related field.
- Professional designation is preferred, or desire and ability to obtain designation.
- Strong written and oral communication in English; French would be an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player and results oriented.
Environment / Working Conditions :
- Based in Calgary, Alberta
- Ability to travel across Alberta when required.
