We have exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager to accelerate your knowledge and career to the next level. This is a hybrid role with at least days in the office, but for the duration of the training period, you will be expected to be in office
Responsibilities :
- Complete Daily Bank Reconciliations across multiple entities and accounts.
- Manage the accounting operations including the postings of journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable and statutory reporting as needed.
- Review the bank account transfers processing & monitor the cash flow requirements.
- Assist Controller with month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting across multiple legal entities.
- Investigate posting errors and transfer discrepancies.
- Review and Compile Vendor management documentation, flag upcoming contract renewals.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports for Agents.
- Review Agent Billings before processing and investigate errors / discrepancies.
- Monitor credit card activity, perform follow up activities with the card holders and post transactions.
- Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensure adherence to corporate policies, accounting standards and relevant regulatory requirements, conducting regular reviews for compliance.
- Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and safeguard company assets.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings, providing actionable recommendations.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, collaborating with department heads to align financial goals and provide insights based on financial data.
- Work with the accounting and deals staff to ensure all accounting functions and financial reporting activities are completed on an accurate and timely basis.

Requirements :
- Must have experience with LoneWolf
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or working towards CPA.
- years of accounting experience
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is an asset as this role requires to work with large datasets.
- Extremely detail oriented with a high level of initiative and ability to multitask.
- Independent worker and team player.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and organizational skills.
- Experience in real estate, brokerage or legal, an asset.
- Experience with one or more of the following is an asset : Brokerwolf, Xero, Clio, Quickbooks.
