Equinox Engineering Ltd. is a Calgary-based EPCM firm. We are a market leader in oil and gas processing specializing in facilities design, implementation and operational assistance for natural gas, conventional and heavy oil projects.
Our clients include several of the largest oil & gas producers in Canada and worldwide, and we are currently executing a wide range of sweet gas, sour gas, conventional oil, heavy oil facility and pipeline projects.
Equinox Engineering is looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist
Key Responsibilities :
- Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews.
- Requesting references and checking the suitability of applicants.
- Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question.
- Informing candidates about the results of their interviews.
- Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between client and candidates.
- Provide complete and effective full cycle recruiting.
- This position will be responsible to manage all communications from hiring managers.
- Manage inbound calls and inbound emailed resumes.
- Responsible for screening, interviewing and reference checking activities.
- Maintain updated list of positions through continuous liaison with Supervisor.
- Responsible for all recruiting strategies including networking, database marketing, head hunting, referrals, etc.
- The successful candidate will take on an important role within the organization and will interact closely with all hiring managers in various departments.
- Experience with Creating Authorization to hire and preparing contracts.
Key Skills :
- The successful candidate will be Tech Savvy with regards to all Social Media Recruiting. Strong knowledge of Linkedin Recruiter, Indeed, Linkedin, SEEK, Facebook, Twitter and other Social Media platforms.
- Strong knowledge of the Calgary Oil and Gas Market with contacts in the Industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Time management and organisation skills.
- Team working skills.
Education and Qualifications :
- The ideal candidate will possess post-secondary education, preferably in Human Resources or Recruiting
- 10 + years recruiting industry experience is valued.
- Experience with phone screening and interviewing candidates, reference checking, utilizing external job boards and LinkedIn Recruiter are essential.
- Experience in the oil and gas marketplace and familiarity with the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) segment preferable.
- Strong interpersonal, communication skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency are essential.
