This student position is with our Workforce Analytics and Strategic Planning Team. In this role, the student will perform HR analytics and programming tasks.
What you’ll do
Develop scripts and custom applications to automate and optimize existing HR processes.
During their term, they will develop and execute programming, custom application development, data engineering, data analytics, statistics, and human resources skills.
Support with data / platform migration to the new Azure Databricks platform.
Who you are
Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications :
Legally authorized to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa)
Available to begin work in May 2025
Experience with any of the following systems / skills is considered an asset :
R / RStudio, Python / VSCode, GitLab, Databricks, DBeaver
Agility, Communication, Problem-solving, Integrity, Innovation, Teamwork
Education
Must be enrolled in a Business HR, Computer Science, Data Science or Data Engineering program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term
Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered
New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
