Position Description :

The vulnerability management platform team is looking for an experienced and proactive developer with solid background in full stack web app development.

The candidate should be able to quickly adapt to a fast-evolving environment and take full ownership of the services / features they will be working on.

Core Responsibilities :

• Engineer and develop back-end services to process large quantity of data.
• Build API endpoints to expose the data and allow consumption from external services.
• Design and implement UI screens that will be used by analysts to prioritize vulnerability findings.
• Write well tested and well documented code.
• Advocate for best practices and mentor junior team members.
• Take part in the squad Agile Scrum process which plays a critical role in helping to better understand ongoing efforts, ensures our work is clear and well communicated, and helps us to more effectively maximize productivity to help achieve the goal of maintaining a consistent release cycle.
• Use DevOps tools and processes to facilitate rapid change, frequent updates and to ensure we can identify bugs and code issues prior to code reviews.

Required Skills :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university.
• years' experience as a full stack developer.
• Strong proficiency with Python, Typescript, HTML and CSS.
• Proficiency with Vue, React or Angular or any modern SPA framework. Ability to create working components from scratch without relying on CSS libraries such as Bootstrap.
• Experience with Fast API or Flask.
• Experience with Postgre or any relational DB.
• Able to troubleshoot, problem solve, analytical thinker.
• Interpersonal skills - communicator, flexible, self-driven, team player.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Experience with standard DevOps tools in a CI / CD deployment pipeline such as Jenkins, Stash, Github, Git, Jira (or equivalents).
• Track record of having worked on the deployment and management of software development on sizeable and complex projects.
• Focus on effective time-management, task prioritization and an ability to meet agreed upon goals and deliverables.

Nice to have (one or many from below list) :

• Proficiency in Vue and Tailwind.
• Experiences in UI / UX design.
• Experience in database design.
• Experience or knowledge related to container builds, runtimes and / or Kubernetes platforms such as AKS, EKS or OpenShift.
• Familiarity with, or experience working in, an Agile environments leveraging Kanban or Scrum.
• Background in cyber security focused efforts or a strong interest in developing deeper knowledge of cyber security.
• Knowledge or experience in security and technology areas such as Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), Common Platform Enumeration (CPE), NIST, OWASP Top .
