Maintenance Worker - Days

Maintenance Worker ( Temporary to Permanent) About Our Client Our client is a manufacturing plant of metal components for so many things we use daily tractors, cars, machines, forklifts etc.

They are looking for someone who wants to learn and grow in the warehouse that does metal cutting, forming, welding and assembly but you would be working with our welding team because you have a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience! What You Will Be Doing, as a Maintenance Worker :

• Operation of a variety of material handling equipment, such as Counterbalance, to load / unload shipments and move materials around the facility.
• General cleaning of the warehouse including light cleaning, mopping, drive floor sweeper, handing disposal of garbage and recycling.
• General Maintenance duties
• Complete small repairs
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Should Have, as a Maintenance Worker :

• Minimum of1year’sexperiencedriving counterbalance
• Validthird-partylicense
• Must be able tolift upto 50lbs.
• Physically capable of performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the position including regular lifting and carrying of 5-23 kgs

In Return, You Will Receive :

• $22.00 - $23.00 hourly (based on experience, could be negotiated)
• Paid weekly, every Friday.
• Opportunity for permanent hire
• 4% vacation pay accrued and paid out when you need it
• Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends

The Shift You Will be Working is :

• Monday to Friday
• Days : 6 : 00am to 2 : 30pm

Where You Will Be Working, as a Maintenance Worker :

• Royal Windsor Drive and Winston Churchill Blvd (Oakville)
• May be bus accessible
