Fire Apparatus Mechanic Pump and Aerial Ladders
Summary :
We are looking for Fire Apparatus Mechanic Pump and Aerial Ladders to join our team to inspect, test and repair all types of fire truck aerial ladders and pumps.
This role is a road service position so very good customer service skills and a valid and clean driver's license is a requirement for the role.
Responsibilities :
- Identify and complete all necessary repairs needed.
- Inspecting each unit for any defects, loose parts etc.
- Check all repair work to ensure that equipment is in good and safe operating condition.
- Review documentation and or repair order to ensure all required information on repair order is accurate legible and complete.
- Record parts and equipment utilized on the repair order and ensure the parts person is aware of the stock taken.
Qualification & Skills :
- Previous experience working on emergency vehicles is an asset.
- Mechanical knowledge / aptitude in electrical and mechanical systems.
- Understand and adhere to the Ministry of Transportation rules and regulations.
- Dependable, hardworking, punctual, reliable, team player with a positive attitude.
Work schedule : 7 : 00 am 4 : 00 pm
