Some of our benefits include : Learning and Development Programs Dental, Vision, and Extended Health Care Tuition Reimbursement Employee Assistance Program Paid Time Off RRSP Matching Wellness Program Company Events Your Role The Beef Technical Sales Representative will work directly with beef producers to generate sales on cattle farms by achieving their goals both personally from a tonnage perspective and on farm as outlined by the producers they work with.

The primary responsibilities of this role will be to work to gain and retain new beef customers and maintain current customer base in the region they are responsible for.

This position will directly report in the Ruminant Business Unit Manager and work with beef nutritionists, other technical representatives, and the mill to ensure that NLM processes are respected and followed ensuring best quality customer service both on farm and through manufacturing and delivery.

Representation of New-Life Mills at industry events and by attending relevant symposiums / conferences that will provide benefit to New-Life Mills is expected.

Day to Day Developing, supporting, and implementing beef sales strategies to drive sales in Southwestern Ontario. Provide regular market intelligence to the Ruminant Business Unit Manager to maintain competitive advantage.

Organizing beef farm visits to evaluate and determine farm needs and then coordinating with our beef nutritionist to help build appropriate resources.

Partnering with beef farm managers to identify issues and create solutions to support farm goals. Promoting and educating customers / prospects on the benefits of using NLM products for beef.

Ration balancing using CowBytes software program, while working collaboratively with a central nutrition team. Organizing beef producer meetings and being actively involved at industry trade shows.

Continuing education, attending conferences and / or professional development opportunities. Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience working in the beef industry, considered an asset.

Possess a valid Canadian driver’s license in good standing authorizing you to drive independently during your employment.

Strong knowledge of Canadian Beef Market and Feed Industry Personable with the ability to communicate well with people of diverse background and levels of authority.
