Forklift Driver and Shunt Truck

We are seeking a reliable and certified forklift operator to join our team. You'll be working with a growing transportation company in SE Calgary as forklift cross dock operator, performing LTL duties.

The role also includes operating shunt truck where you will be responsible for moving trailers and containers within our facility, ensuring timely delivery and pickup of goods.

You will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of operations and supporting our logistics team.

An hourly pay of $20- 22, with day shift that starts at 5 : 00 am, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

Able to operate forklift machine inside the warehouse to load trailers

Operate shunt truck to move trailers and containers to and from designated areas.

Perform safety checks on vehicles and report any maintenance issues.

Communicate effectively with the logistics team to coordinate movement of goods.

Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

Valid Class 1 with a clean driving record.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a shunt truck driver and forklift operator

Valid forklift license

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
