Summary
We are currently recruiting for a temporary Painter / Labourer for our relief valve business in the Edmonton Service Centre (5515 42nd Street).
The position will be a temporary term of 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will report to the Warehouse Operations Manager.
Role and Responsibilities
- Painting valves and actuators
- Palletizing valves and preparing for shipment
- Shop organizing and cleaning
- Cleaning and maintaining paint equipment & work area
- Interfacing with internal and external customers
- Ability to work overtime to meet customer requirements
- Assisting technicians with a variety of tasks, as required
- General labour as required
Qualifications and Skills
- Mechanically knowledgeable
- SAP experience considered an asset
- Forklift experience considered an asset
- Jib crane experience considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Solid keyboarding and computer skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Team player
- Entrepreneurial work ethic
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Physically able to lift a minimum of 35 lbs.

Job Specifications :
- Full-time position, typical hours of work : Monday through Friday, 08 : 00-17 : 00 (some exceptions apply) with one hour unpaid lunch
- Safety footwear & eyewear required in warehouse at all times (Company-provided)
