About the role
We're looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team of individual contributors focused on delivering high-impact products.
In this role, you'll work closely with Product and Design Teams to ensure that what we build adds real value and aligns with our business goals.
You'll be hands-on in planning and executing longer-term strategies that help drive our product delivery forward. If you're someone who thrives in collaboration, enjoys shaping the bigger picture, and loves solving complex engineering challenges, we'd love to hear from you!
What you'll do
- Plan and implement strategies to optimize product delivery and engineering processes.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Customer Success teams to align engineering with business goals.
- Remove roadblocks and advocate for resources to ensure seamless team collaboration.
- Lead agile practices, driving continuous improvement and team growth.
- Manage incident response, post-mortems, and on-call rotations to ensure timely resolutions.
- Guide architecture and design decisions, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Mentor and support Engineering Managers, fostering leadership and consistent team performance.
- Provide feedback and career development support, empowering team members to take ownership.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations in collaboration with People Operations.
- Oversee team workload, vacation, and professional development through regular check-ins.
- Ensure high-quality, reliable software solutions that align with business objectives.
- Communicate progress and priorities clearly to stakeholders across the organization.
What we're looking for
- 7+ years of leadership experience within engineering teams, with a track record of success in agile, product-driven environments.
- Strong background in people leadership, process improvement, and fostering high-performance teams.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop engineering talent while driving collaboration across the organization.
- Hands-on technical expertise, with a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and engineering best practices.
- Startup experience is a plus-thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments where ambiguity and change are constant.
- Innovative thinker with a strategic, creative approach to solving complex technical and organizational challenges.
