Responsibilities

• Communicating (via phone / text / geotab) with drivers to advise their next pick-up and deliveries.
• Working closely with 15-20 drivers on any problems they may encounter
• Updating shipment status in the dispatch system
• Determining the best routes and order of pick-ups & deliveries.
• Working very closely with fellow dispatchers to co-ordinate the daily activities.
• Advising Customer Service Representatives of any issues so the CSR may communicate directly with clients.
• Verify order status
• Maintain the relationships with clientele

Qualifications

• French and English are mandatory
• At least one year's experience in the trucking industry, flatbed dispatching, preferably with LTL and FT, and in tie-down regulations.
• Team player. Able to work well with others
• Good communicator
• Solid geographical knowledge of Quebec
• Good attitude and willingness to learn
• Computer savy
