Drake International is currently searching for a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Person in Kelowna, BC . Our clientis a wholesale and distribution company providing access to the industries best power solutions.
In this role you will be delivering and picking up products from clients and performing various warehouse duties and may include forklift operation.
SHIFT : Full Time, Monday to Friday Responsibilities :
- Deliver product operating a 5 Ton delivery vehicle in a professional and courteous manner
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Perform heavy lifting and moving of products as required
- 1 Overnight delivery stay is required per week
- Warehouse duties such as receiving, stocking and organizing inventory
- Safely and efficiently load, unload, and deliver products to customers
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed
Requirements :
- Class 5 Drivers License operating a 5 Ton Truck, clean drivers abstract
- Previous experience in a delivery or warehouse role preferred
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management
