Valard Construction LP is seeking qualified Apprentice Powerline Technicians 3rd & 4th Year to join our team. We are looking for self-motivated, team player, dedicated individuals who are willing to work as part of a dynamic team that provides crucial support to Valard’s projects, local to the Greater Toronto area .
Requirements
- Qualified 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Powerline Technicians
- DZ license minimum, preference given to AZ license.
- First aid / CPR training
- Working at Heights Ontario Training
- Familiar with operating various pieces of equipment, bucket truck, RBD, truck and trailer, tensioners.
- Distribution line work experience, preference given to candidates with live line training and rubber glove experience.
- Safety oriented
- Willing to travel / work extended shifts
- Preference given to Candidates with Bruce Power security clearance
- Projects are based in Hanover, Tilbury, Hagersville, Uxbridge
