Fountain Tire Vancouver - Marine Drive (828 SW Marine Dr) is looking for a responsible, safe and dedicated associate to join our team as a 3rd Year Apprentice Automotive Service Technician !
Salary : $27 - $33 / hour (based on experience)
What each day will bring :
- Something different! You never know what kind of vehicle or tire you may be required to work on
- Challenging mechanical repairs and diagnosis with excellent guidance from our master technicians to hone and perfect your skills!
- You could be inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and / or repairing passenger or light truck tires / wheels
- Everything from tire work to general maintenance to diagnostics to repairs, you'll see it all
- Amazing customers to impress with your professional and friendly customer service
- The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe
- Pride in the work you've done keeping your customers safe and on the road!
What kind of person are we looking for?
- A registered Automotive Service Technician Apprentice
- Minimum of 5 years mechanical hands-on experience
- Someone who is always willing to learn and try new things
- This work can unpredictable, physical, wet etc and we need someone who will be up for the challenge
Able to mount and balance tires of different sizes
Skilled at inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, service and repair
Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to problem solving
Experience and strong awareness of working in a safety-focused environment
Valid driver's license
Strong personal commitment to health and safety
Team player who is professional and organized
