Compensation : $18 $21 / hour (full-time / permanent)
Labourers at On Side are important team members who, help rebuild and restore damaged personal and commercial property, anywhere and anytime disaster strikes.
Labourers are the MVP of the restoration teams. Willing to learn, love being taught and full of ambition the Labourer knows they’re going places in life and this is the first stop on the way to success!
What you bring
Labourers bring a host of abilities to their work, not the least being a get it done!’ attitude. Additional abilities required include :
- Experience and desire to do physical work / heavy lifting
- Understanding and experience using hand and power tools
- Interest in cross training, helping team members, growing with the company
- Critical thinking, curious nature, always want to know how things happen
- Strong people, teamwork and communication skills
- Attention to detail, ability to follow directions
- A safety mindset
- Valid driver’s licence and a clean criminal record (we do check)
- Ability to communicate in English
Other stuff that’ll help you be successful but isn’t mandatory :
- Experienced in construction, home renovation, particularly demolition
- WHMIS
- First Aid
Of Note
Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24 / 7 after hours on-call work is a requirement.
