The Role

Are you a passionate Maths or Science teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference? We're searching for dynamic educators who are ready to empower students, spark curiosity, and build a foundation for lifelong learning.

Position details :

• Start Date : Dive into your teaching adventure right away upon completing the recruitment process.
• Teaching Hours : Peak hours from Monday to Friday between 6 AM and 9AM EDT, Saturdays and Sundays more hours available.
• Students : Engage with bright young minds aged 4-12 years old from China, creating dynamic one-on-one learning experiences or small group classes.
• Class Duration : Deliver impactful lessons in 30-minute, 45-minute and 60-minute sessions, tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Remuneration : Receive a competitive base rate of $24 USD per hour.
• Contract Type : Join us as an Independent Service Provider, enjoying the freedom and flexibility of remote work.
• Location : Embrace the convenience of working from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Maths and / or Science.
• Provide feedback and support to help students achieve their academic goals.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Stay updated on the latest educational trends and methodologies (Knowledge of CAPS / GCSE / SAT advantageous).

Ideal Profile

Minimum Qualifications :

• Must be from the UK, USA, or Canada.
• A degree in Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Maths and / or Science online (3-5 years).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A passion for education and student success.

Tech Requirements :

• PC specifications : Intel® Core™ i5 CPU @2.0GHz (4 CPUs) or greater, 8GB RAM or greater
• Backup power : Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) with a battery life of 4-5 hours (2000VA)
• Internet connection : Stable fiber connection, minimum 20 Mbps upload and download speeds
• Accessories : Noise-cancelling headsets, HD web camera, and a tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment
