This position requires you to be on the road 7 to 14 days at a time. Resets on the road as required.
- Running open-board, Canada / U.S. long-haul
- Southbound freight could depart into any of the lower 48 states
- Northbound freight could go into any of the Canadian Provinces and Territories
- Assigned unit requires 24 days on the road per month and averaging 12,000 miles per month
- Regional freight might be required
Candidate Profile :
- Company Driver with tractor-trailer experience
- Valid Class 1 / AZ License is required
- Must be eligible to drive in the U.S.
- Must be FAST card qualified
- Must be able to drive on Highway 17 in Ontario 12 months of the year
- Must be able to drive in California, and U.S. Mountains 12 months of the year
- B.C. Mountain experience is an asset
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Reliable, flexible, and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Values safety
