What we are looking for :
Under the supervision of the Supervisor, IT-Services, the technician provides first level IT support to users. They will be part of a call center.
Position type : 6-month contract
Your responsibilities :
In the course of his or her duties, the incumbent of the position shall perform the following duties :
Respond to IT incidents and requests.
If necessary, transfer requests and incidents to a more specialized level of support.
Identify and document recurring problems and make recommendations for corrective measures, as well as participate in their implementation when possible.
Occasional preparation and replacement of computer workstations when the local group responsible for the preparation of this equipment cannot respond within the required time.
Maintain the inventory of IT assets rigorously.
If necessary, help resolve IT incidents remotely.
Guide and train the users on best practices whenever possible and needed.
Maintain and improve the IT work desk, stockroom, etc.
Contribute to the documentation of IT incident resolution processes.
Must have requirements to be successful in this role :
College or professional diploma in computer science or any other discipline deemed relevant
Very good verbal and written communication
Autonomy and ability to work effectively in a team
Good knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365 environment, iPhone and Android devices
Excellent knowledge of French and English (oral and written)
Asset, level 1 IT Support experience
The technician must be available to start early (7 : 30 am) or finish late (6 : 00 pm).
