Job Title : Auto Body Repairer

Location : Ontario, Canada

Required hours : 6,000 hours

Overview :

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Auto Body Repairer to join our automotive service team. The successful candidate will play a key role in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition, ensuring both mechanical and aesthetic repairs are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Damage Assessment & Repairs : Evaluate the extent of damage to vehicles and perform necessary repairs, including removing, fixing, or replacing body parts such as panels, frames, and other components.

Preparation for Painting : Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, priming, and ensuring surfaces are ready for a flawless finish.

Painting & Finishing : Apply paint, clear coat, and other finishing materials to repaired surfaces, ensuring the finished product matches the original vehicle colour and maintains a smooth, even finish.

Safety & Organization : Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in line with industry safety standards and protocols.

Team Collaboration : Work closely with fellow team members to ensure efficient repair processes and consistent high-quality service.

Customer Service : Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with clients, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with the completed repairs.

Requirements :

Experience : Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in auto body repair, including mechanical and aesthetic repairs.

Attention to Detail : Strong focus on quality and precision in every aspect of repair work.

Tool Proficiency : Ability to safely and effectively operate various hand tools and power tools used in auto body repair (e.

g., grinders, sanders, welders, spray guns).

Communication Skills : Effective communication abilities, with the capacity to interact with customers and team members clearly and professionally.

Teamwork & Adaptability : Ability to work well in a team environment and remain flexible to different repair tasks and challenges.

Continuous Learning : A willingness to stay updated with the latest repair techniques and automotive technologies.
