As a Junior System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our IT systems. You will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and assist with system monitoring.

The ideal candidate for this role possesses a strong foundation in administering Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, and is committed to delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming IT support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
  • Assist end-users in resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Administer Windows, Mac, and Linux systems, including user account management and software installations.
  • Perform standard user account setup / management
  • Perform standard user equipment setup, workstations, laptops, and etc
  • Monitor network and server performance to identify, report and address potential issues proactively.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to implement improvements based on monitoring data.
  • Assist with equipment shipment / purchasing / retrieve
  • Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and system changes.
  • Create and update knowledge base articles for common issues.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of IT system administration experience and or bachelors degree in IT or 3+ years of experience.
  • IT-related certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
  • Basic understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dynamic and eager to learn and grow.
  • Bilingual proficiency in both French and English

En tant qu'administrateur système junior, vous jouerez un rôle crucial dans la garantie du bon fonctionnement de nos systèmes informatiques.

Vous fournirez un support technique, résoudrez des problèmes et aiderez à la surveillance des systèmes. Le candidat idéal pour ce poste possède une solide base en administration de systèmes Windows, Mac et Linux, et s'engage à fournir un service client exceptionnel.

Responsabilités

  • Répondre aux demandes de support informatique entrantes par téléphone, e-mail ou système de billetterie.
  • Aider les utilisateurs à résoudre des problèmes liés au matériel, aux logiciels et au réseau.
  • Administrer les systèmes Windows, Mac et Linux, y compris la gestion des comptes d'utilisateurs et l'installation de logiciels.
  • Effectuer la configuration / gestion des comptes d'utilisateurs
  • Effectuer la configuration des équipements des utilisateurs, postes de travail, ordinateurs portables, etc.
  • Surveiller les performances du réseau et des serveurs pour identifier, signaler et résoudre proactivement les problèmes potentiels.
  • Collaborer avec les membres seniors de l'équipe pour mettre en œuvre des améliorations basées sur les données de surveillance.
  • Aider à l'expédition / achat / récupération de l'équipement
  • Tenir des registres précis des demandes de support, des résolutions et des modifications du système.
  • Créer et mettre à jour des articles de base de connaissances pour les problèmes courants.

Exigences

  • 1 à 3 ans d'expérience en administration de systèmes informatiques et / ou un baccalauréat en informatique ou plus de 3 ans d'expérience.
  • Des certifications liées à l'informatique (par exemple, CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) sont un atout.
  • Solide connaissance des systèmes d'exploitation Windows, Mac et Linux.
  • Compréhension de base des protocoles et de la résolution de problèmes réseau.
  • Excellentes compétences en service client.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication, en analyse et en résolution de problèmes.
  • Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et en équipe.
  • Dynamique et désireux d'apprendre et de progresser.
  • Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais
