Elevate Gift Card Engagement Through Strategic Partnerships and Innovative Marketing Initiatives As a Specialist, Gift Card Marketing, you be responsible for driving gift card sales through strategic marketing initiatives and partnerships.

Collaborate closely with banking, loyalty, and credit program providers to enhance the gift card offering and maximize sales opportunities.

Led by the Director, Loyalty & CRM, this opportunity will suit someone who has strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Support the creation of comprehensive annual marketing plans focused on driving gift card sales across various channels (in-store, online).
  • Implement targeted marketing campaigns and promotions to increase gift card adoption and usage.
  • Support the creation and the implementation of the Gift Card Marketing Calendar.
  • Analyze market trends and customer insights to refine marketing strategies.
  • Forge partnerships with banking institutions, loyalty program providers, affiliate programs and partnerships (brands like FlipGive and Tim Horton’s) to enhance gift card accessibility and incentives.
  • Support agreement negotiations and promotional opportunities with partners to drive incremental gift card sales.
  • Serve as the primary contact for Dealers and B2B customers regarding gift card sales and promotions.
  • Develop tailored marketing materials and support programs to assist dealers in promoting gift cards effectively.
  • Manage contract renewals, amendments, and compliance to optimize partnerships and minimize risks.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to gift card sales and marketing efforts.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate outcomes and recommendations for improvement.

We’re looking for :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of Gift Card, Credit or Loyalty programs in general is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and accuracy.
  • Understanding of the digital marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies.
  • Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Ability to build productive business relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Experience developing and launching new programs.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data and analysis tools and techniques.
  • Strategic thinker and a self-starter.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management abilities.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products.
  • The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
