Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot defective mechanical or electrical parts and perform repairs efficiently / effectively
- Preventive maintenance
- Diagnose issues and order necessary parts according to technical manuals.
- Document and analyze breakdowns following established procedures.
- Serve as the primary contact between our company and customers, balancing technical expertise with strong client interaction + superior customer service
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical Technician or related field.
- Automotive / Truck Certification (310T / 310S) or Heavy Duty Technician Certification (421A) *not mandatory
- ICE-IE-P Industrial Equipment Propane Certification is an asset.
- Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in battery and engine-powered material handling equipment.
- Proficiency with hand tools, measuring devices, and electrical / electronic diagnostic tools.
- Strong understanding of Lock-out / Tag-out procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service focus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driver’s license.
