Adecco Professional is partnering with an established but fast growing distributor to bring top talent in for a Warehouse Operations Manager job opening in Mississauga, ON.

This full-time, permanent opportunity will have you leading the team while drives strategic initiatives to work more effectively and efficiently.

Some of the responsibilities of the Warehouse Operations Manager job opening in Mississauga, ON may include, but are not limited to :

  • Efficiently lead the warehouse operations in various functions from strategic initiatives, day-to-day execution, quality control, inventory control, health and safety etc.
  • Mentor, coach your Supervisors and the team as a whole; ensure a positive, motivated work culture and be hands on with daily functions
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Initiate projects and participate as an active team member on those that interact with the warehouse / distribution center
  • Inventory control; timely, accurate at all times
  • Responsible for reporting, tracking and follow through; this can include vendor cost, performance, KPIs, and more
  • Support employee timekeeping, recruitment, performance reviews and disciplinary action when required
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are clear and followed including production, health and safety, quality, cost management
  • Interact with various teams including sales, executive leadership, clients when required
  • Other duties as assigned.

Some of the responsibilities of the Warehouse Operations Manager job opening in Mississauga, ON include, but are also not limited to :

  • At last 3 years of leadership experience in an operational capacity
  • 5+ years’ experience in distribution, supply chain and / or logistics arena
  • Completed post-secondary degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related
  • Strengths with MS Office as well as AS400 or SAP; other WMS systems an asset
  • Driven on results while ensure the team is supported and engaged; promote a positive, inclusive team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; verbal and written
  • Able to work in a busy, fast paced environment with the ability to prioritize and pivot as needed; calm under pressure
  • Enthusiastic, positive, can-do attitude; can roll up your sleeves in the day-to-day
  • Flexible to adjust your schedule at times pending the demand on production
