Change Management Lead
Division : Project Management Office
Work Status : Contract, 12-months (with the possibility of extending)
Location : Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid)
About the Role :
You'll play a vital role in driving the success of our complex information and technology transformation initiative. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Projects & PM Practices, you'll champion change management strategies to ensure seamless adoption and minimize disruption.
You will contribute by :
- Developing and executing a comprehensive change management strategy, including tools and templates, to support organizational goals.
- Partnering with project teams and stakeholders to assess change readiness, identify risks, and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders, actively seeking, and integrating their feedback.
- Designing and delivering targeted communications that emphasize the impact, benefits, and timeline of the change.
- Identifying and overcoming resistance to change, addressing factors across the business.
- Collaborating with training teams to design and deliver effective programs that build skills and knowledge.
- Coaching leaders to effectively communicate and support their teams throughout the transition.
Qualifications / Competencies :
- Proven experience in leading successful change management initiatives within complex projects.
- In-depth understanding of change management methodologies (, Prosci ADKAR, Kotter)
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
- Ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Adaptable and solution-oriented, with a track record of overcoming challenges in ambiguous situations.
- Strategic mindset, able to connect change management efforts to broader organizational goals.
Certifications
Change management certification (Prosci, CCMP, etc.) strongly preferred.
Experience :
- Minimum of 4 years' experience working in change management or business transformation roles.
- Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Experience or familiar with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with and influence others to move toward a common vision or goal.
- Proven track record of successful large-scale business transformation projects
- Proficient in MS Office suite of tools, project management tools and best practices.
