What You'll Do :

Spire is a leading space-based data and analytics company that owns and operates one of the largest constellations of LEO satellites.

We develop some of the most advanced technology in the industry and our projects coming out of our Cambridge office are revolutionizing our product portfolios.

We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Project Coordinator to support the end-to-end lifecycle of our products and services.

This role will work cross-functionally with teams across project management, manufacturing, supply chain, and product development to ensure the smooth execution of projects and seamless product delivery.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment.

Project Coordination & Support :

  • Assist with the planning, execution, and tracking of multiple IoT product development projects, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for project-related inquiries, ensuring smooth communication between stakeholders (product development, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams).
  • Maintain and update project timelines, track deliverables, and manage project documentation.
  • Prepare and assist with project status reports, meeting agendas, and progress updates for internal and external stakeholders.

Manufacturing Support :

  • Support the manufacturing team in coordinating compliance roadmap and lead product certification activities
  • Work closely with design, manufacturing and compliance teams to implement product labelling requirements
  • Collaborate and coordinate with compliance and regulatory to ensure adherence to international logistic requirements
  • Ensure smooth communication between R&D, design, and manufacturing teams, especially for new product launches or design modifications.

End-to-End Product Management :

  • Assist with the overall lifecycle of the product, from concept to launch, helping ensure each stage is progressing as planned.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams for product testing, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance as needed.
  • Support the product management team with documentation, updates, and coordination with external stakeholders (e.g., customers, partners).

Continuous Improvement :

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains across project, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
  • Assist in tracking key performance metrics for product development and manufacturing, helping to identify trends or areas for improvement.
  • Support with office management and site coordination activities for the leadership team

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in project coordination, project management, or operations in a manufacturing or IoT-focused company.
  • Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, manufacturing processes, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Wrike, Jira) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work across teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential roadblocks.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Blackbelt
  • Experience working in the IoT, electronics, or hardware industry.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and product development cycles.
  • Knowledge of supply chain software or ERP systems.
  • Basic understanding of quality assurance and regulatory standards for IoT devices (e.g., UL, CE, FCC).
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Ability to build strong relationships with teams from engineering, manufacturing, product management, and supply chain.
  • Attention to Detail : Ability to keep track of project details, deliverables, and timelines while ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Problem Solving : Strong ability to identify challenges early and work with teams to implement solutions.
  • Adaptability : Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and evolving needs.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. Final base salary for this role will be based on the location, skills, experience and qualifications.

  • In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for annual equity awards and our employee benefits program, including vacation, sick, and personal time off;
  • optional medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage; a Registered Retirement Savings Plan; health and wellness reimbursement program;

and participation in Spire’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. We reserve the right to go outside of the range and / or modify the range or benefits at any time.

Canada Salary Range$80,000 $110,000 CAD
