Regional Business Development Manager
Our client is searching for a Regional Business Development Manager both in Edmonton and Saskatoon. This role will be responsible for building strategic relationships, expanding the company presence, and making a significant impact.
A successful candidate will be a strategic entrepreneurial thinker driven by sales execution excellence. This role will report to the General Manager and Director of Business Development.
Your success will be defined by your ability to :
- Drive sustainable growth in the market across all branch segments, collaborating with the General manager to establish performance accountability
- Execute the sales program, refining the sales process and structure, and ensuring every team member is aligned with the company’s goals
- Support, train and onboard new sales talent, helping them thrive and contribute to the company vision
- Cultivate lasting relationships with key customers across all segments, ensuring sales budgets, margin targets and annual goals are hit
- Work hand-in-hand with the Director of Sales / Business Development to identify potential customers and emerging opportunities, transitioning key relationships to the regional level.
- Keep a finger on the pulse of market trends, economic indicators, and competitor moves to maintain a competitive edge
- Contribute to the collective success by aligning branch and personal targets with company strategies.
Your strengths include :
- 3+ years of proven sales experience with hands-on, strategic selling success
- A Degree in Business is preferred, and professional sales training or equivalent is an asset
- Experience across multiple segments and comfortable working with corporate and private sector leaders
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools for business
- Willingness to travel within Canada and internationally, as needed
