Rôle :

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e) avocat(e) ayant plus de 4 ans d'expérience en droit immobilier pour joindre l'équipe de notre client.

L'avocat(e) engagé(e) dans ce poste sera porté à :

  • Rédiger, réviser et négocier des ententes de location, incluant des lettres d’intention, des offres de location, des baux et des conventions d’amendement, de prolongation, de relocalisation, d’agrandissement, de cession et de terminaison;
  • Rédiger, réviser et négocier des offres d’achat, contre-offres, actes de vente, servitudes et tout autre document et convention relativement à l’acquisition ou la vente d’immeubles et de centres commerciaux;
  • Rédiger et réviser des lettres de mise en demeure et des avis de résiliation de bail;
  • Rédiger et réviser divers document ou entente de nature commerciale ou civile;
  • Conseiller les départements des opérations, de comptabilité et de location à l’égard de divers enjeux commerciaux et juridiques;
  • Consulter le registre foncier et le RDPRM;
  • Gérer, superviser et participer activement à l’élaboration de stratégies dans le cadre de divers dossiers de litige confiés à l’externe, incluant en matière de recouvrement d’arrérages et d’hypothèques légales de la construction;
  • Répondre aux questions internes et externes et émettre des opinions juridiques à l’égard de divers enjeux découlant de baux commerciaux.

Qualifications :

  • Plus de 4 ans d'expérience en droit immobilier
  • Membre du Barreau du Québec ou Chambre des Notaires
  • Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite en français et en anglais
  • Aptitude à travailler au sein d'une équipe au rythme rapide
  • Capacité de gérer plusieurs projets simultanément et à travailler efficacement de manière indépendante et en équipe
  • Engagement à dépasser les attentes des clients
  • Excellente maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (en particulier Outlook, Word et Excel)

Role :

Our client is seeking a lawyer with 4 years or more of Real Estate Law experience to join its team.

The Real Estate / Commercial lawyer will have a central position within the dynamic legal team and will be responsible for :

  • Draft, review and negotiate leasing agreements, including letters of intent, offers to lease, lease agreements, amending agreements, extensions, transfers, relocations, expansions and terminations;
  • Draft, review and negotiate agreements of purchase and sale, counter-offers, deeds of sale, servitudes and any other required document and agreement regarding the acquisition or sale of properties and commercial centres;
  • Draft and review notices of default and termination;
  • Draft and review various documents or agreements of a commercial or civil nature;
  • Advise the operations, accounting and leasing departments regarding various business and legal matters;
  • Consult the Land Registry and RPMRR;
  • Manage and oversee litigation files handled by external counsels, and actively take part in the elaboration of strategies in connection therewith;
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries, and interpret and give legal opinions on various lease-related issues.

Qualifications :

  • 4 years of experience as a lawyer in Real Estate Law

  • Membership to the Québec Bar or Chamber of Notaries
