Randstad Canada is hiring for a Material Handler in the Perth / Ottawa area for one of our leading clients in the electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing industry.
This position is intended to be an initial contract via Randstad Canada until the employee is able to converted to the client's team as an internal employee.
The location is on Industrial Road, Perth / Ottawa area.
This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week with opportunity for overtime.
Starting wage is $19 / hr.

Responsibilities
- Inspect and verify inbound material for condition, quantity, and correctness.
- Accurately pick and process outbound orders.
- Move and pick up material from other departments.
- Complete all necessary paperwork.
- Complete inventory cycle counts.
- Complete replenishment tasks.
- Assist with error investigation and resolution related to inventory and receiving errors.
- Use computer programs for information and database updates.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1 year warehouse experience
- Lift truck experience
- RF Scanner picking experience
- Knowledge of Lean principles
- Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
