MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Multi-Family Superintendent in Calgary.
Our client is a midsized construction firm based in Calgary, and places a strong emphasis on design, safety, and craftsmanship in its decision-making process.
They are committed to constructing superior spaces with meticulous attention and care. The primary objective is to deliver construction projects that seamlessly blend aesthetics and functionality through well-engineered solutions, ensuring utmost customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities :
- Expertise in all construction phases : civil, concrete, framing, building systems (fire protection, HVAC, plumbing, electrical), finishing, inspections, and close-out.
- Manage project schedules, change orders, and costing procedures based on plans and specifications.
- Effective communication with site staff, consultants, engineers, and authorities, maintaining a strong presence in all site activities.
- Assist Project Manager in schedule management and reporting, ensuring production stays within budget through weekly updates.
- Implement quality control measures and resolve scope of work issues with subcontractors to maintain high standards.
- Ensure safety compliance, monitor site performance, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Requirementss :
- Experience as a Superintendent with a developer builder.
- Proficiency with Procore.
- Red Seal Carpenter or previous carpentry experience.
