Responsibilities :

Establishes personalized telephone contact with the client. Creates a climate of trust conducive to the sale of a home or auto insurance policy.

Educates and advises our clients on our products, while adhering to the company's underwriting policies.

  • Offers and services all lines of insurance provided through Desjardins Insurance.
  • Meet individual minimum monthly sales goals.
  • Assist clients with billing, service and claims and sales of Desjardins Products
  • Work with the agent and peers to establish and reach office production goals.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.

Job Requirements :

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Successful record of meeting personal sales goals / quotas.
  • Sales experience and customer experience.
  • Outgoing and driven for results.
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and building relationships.
  • Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
  • Ability to give presentations.
  • Ability to attract new clients and retain current ones.

Qualifications :

  • College diploma in a related field. (Business or or Marketing)
  • 2 years of relevant sales and customer experience.
  • Previous insurance / sales experience in various property and casualty disciplines, such as underwriting, claims, sales or service would be an asset.
  • Property and Casualty license (preferred / must be able to obtain). OTL or RIBO
  • Must have prior for successful hire*
  • LLQP Life License must have prior to successful hire* - Or must achieve within 18 Months of start date
  • 2 Years of Previous Insurance / Sales Experience Preferred.
