Position : Accounts Payable Administrator Location : Downtown Toronto (Hybrid, 3 times a week) Job Type : 3-month contract with possibility of extension Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the successful candidate is a true team player, participating and supporting the Finance Department with annual year-end processes, accounts payable, and expenditure administration.
You will be supporting the day-to-day activities of the Accounts Payable function and finance / administrative-related tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities : - Support the process of full cycle transitions from invoicing, authorization, approval, coding and booking entries - Support full range of accounts payable duties - Assist in year-end processes (processing accruals and accounting close off) - File HST - Perform weekly remittance to CRA - Support the preparation of cash flow statements and entries - Execute other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications : - At least 2+ years of accounts payable experience in a mid-sized organization - Experience in supporting year-end process and closing of accounts, completing accruals and account entries - Experience with full life cycle transitions from invoicing, authorization, approval, coding, and booking entries - Accounting designation or working towards completion is an asset If this sounds like you, please email your resume to Katharine Yau at katharine.
