The Opportunity

Are you a self-motivated individual with an expertise in heating, cooling and ventilation solutions and a passion for our environment?

This is your opportunity to join our team in Canmore as an HVAC Technician and utilize your knowledge to ensure the optimal performance of geothermal and conventional HVAC systems.

As a Brightside Mechanical Inc. HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for serving The Bow Valley area to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings, this includes conventional systems and geothermal.

You will utilize a strong mechanical aptitude and a passionate, personable approach to consult, assess and fulfill our client's unique needs.

Your Superpowers

• Expert in installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing HVAC systems.
• Proficient in reading schematics to ensure efficient operation of HVAC systems.
• The ability to critically think and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
• Proactive and self-motivated to conduct routine inspections to ensure systems operational efficiency.
• Trade proficiency to build, install, repair or replace new or defective systems or parts.
• An acute attention to detail to maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.

What You Bring

• Air Conditioning and Refrigeration License (Required)
• Proven experience in maintenance
• Experience working with HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics
• Proficiency in heating, cooling and plumbing
• Experience as a Plumber or Boiler Technician is an asset
• Driver's License and Criminal Record Check required

What Brightside Offers

• Details :
• Work Location : Hybrid, dependant on length of projects in Canmore and the Bow Valley.
• Expected Hours : No less than 40 per week - flexible hours available.
• Supplemental Pay Availability :

• On-Call

• Weekends as needed
