Working with the National Director and the Mass Marketing agency ofrecord, the Specialist will plan and execute strategies that integrate all relevant channels toacquire, cultivate and reactivate Monthly Donors to achieve set program goal.
This position willalso act as the primary relationship manager to engage and support Monthly donors. With theimplementation of a donor CRM, the Specialist will track and evaluate the performance andeffectiveness of program activities with regular reports and analysis.
Roles and responsibilities Strategic Planning Work with the National Director and the Mass Marketing agency of record to develop a compelling value proposition and key messages Create annual operational and financial plans that address the 3 key areas of the program : 1.
Acquisition of new Monthly donors and conversion of prospects / leads2. Cultivation of current Monthly donors3. Reactivation of cancelled / lapsed Monthly donors o Develop and manage an expense budget that ensures resources are in place to execute plans and achieve required outcomes Fundraising Management and Execution Develop solicitation calendar and contact strategy utilizing all relevant channels that include mail, telephone, digital, face-to-face etc.
Execute all planned activities while fostering an environment of respect, accountability, motivation and productivity with all stakeholdersWork with managed service partner on tactics to minimize cancellationUsing the donor CRM, monitor and evaluate program results against set goals to optimize plans throughout the fiscal yearIdentify synergies and opportunities with other colleagues / teams ensuring pro-active planning and communication where there is intersection of duties.
Revenue Growth and Donor Stewardship Evolve the product offer and the value proposition under the new line of business to position for significant growth in FY26 and beyondWork with Manager, Donor Stewardship and AOR to create an effective onboarding experience to enhance retention rateWork with Manager, Donor Stewardship and AOR to develop a donor journey and stewardship content to increase long term donor valueAct as the primary relationship manager to engage and support Monthly donors, responding in a timely manner to all donor inquiries and requests Operations and Technology SolutionsMaintain records of engagement using the donor CRMFacilitate the transfer of data between agencies / vendors and the donor CRMPlan and execute the annual tax receipt project, ensuring data accuracy and timely deliveryEnsure adherence to all applicable policies, procedures, and protocols pertaining to recurring transactions.
Other duties as specified Qualifications and experience A minimum of 2 years of revenue generation and customer relationship management experience in a fundraising and / or not-for-profit environment Post secondary degree or diploma in Business, Fundraising, Marketing, Communications or related discipline, or acceptable combination of equivalent education and experienceExceptional communication and interpersonal skills required to interact with donors / supporters, as well as internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds including staff, volunteers, clients and vendorsStrong computer skills including proficiency using a CRM / donor database and Microsoft OfficeDemonstrated planning and analytical skills, with experience in developing fundraising targets, budgets and forecastsAbility to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and relationships in a fast-paced and collaborative environmentCapable of exercising critical thinking and sound judgmentDemonstration of positivity, creativity, innovation and versatilityAbility to work in teams or independently with minimal administrative supportCFRE designation or equivalent considered an assetBilingual in French considered an asset Important details We have a hybrid work policy that applies to some job positions.
