Job Description

Qualifications :

Boeing Canada Winnipeg is seeking Supply Chain Management Analyst (Associate or Professional 12 Month Fixed Term) , reporting to the Supply Chain Operations Manager, working out of the Winnipeg, Manitoba office.

The Supply Chain Management Analyst will join the Supplier Chain Department, become part of a dynamic team and will be working with internal and external stakeholders.

The Supply Chain Management Analyst position requires experience collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver against Program commitments and priorities.

This role is an integral part of the Boeing team, helping to execute a variety of business needs.

This role is a 12 Month Fixed Term at Boeing Canada Winnipeg

Position Responsibilities :

  • Action and oversight of all material requirements for the assigned airplane program on a daily basis utilizing best practices through Boeing Supply Chain Systems.
  • Optimize execution of the supply chain, balancing inventory, supply orders, and scheduled demands.
  • Perform tracking and tracing of urgent material requirements while continuously keeping the program and leadership informed about status.
  • Prepare and distributes program reporting as required.
  • Intervene as needed in shortage situations by ensuring that the criticality / situation of the aircraft and customer’s operations are understood and action taken by the extended supply chain.
  • Act as the initial point of escalation for issues or challenges encountered by production team. Capable of effectively triaging and de-escalating issues with impacted parties.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers; working closely with internal and external customers.
  • Monitor team performance metrics, perform trend analysis, and take mitigating action to meet performance objectives, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Resolve request for assistance within the Supply Chain value stream.
  • Adaptable, able to work in a constant change and fast paced environment.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :

  • 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
  • 1+ years of Manufacturing experience
  • Must have experience working within MS Office based applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project)
  • Experience in Data Analysis
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada
  • Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data

Preferred Qualifications (Education / Experience) :

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
  • Experience working with SAP or other Material Management system (MPR system)
  • Inventory Management experience
  • Post-Secondary education
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment is highly desired
  • Ability to be self-directed in work and / or previous experience in a self-directed role

Level 2 :

Education / experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.

g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Level 3 :

Education / experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.

g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation :

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
