ABOUT YOU As an Electronics Repair Technician, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise to diagnose, repair, and refurbish electronic devices, directly contributing to our operational success.
We're seeking someone with excellent troubleshooting skills, an eye for spotting trends, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
If you're passionate about electronics and eager to make an impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you! WHAT YOU’LL DO Repair & Troubleshooting : Perform repairs on electronic devices, with a focus on printed circuit boards and embedded firmware.
Diagnosis & Documentation : Accurately diagnose issues, repair components, and document the repairs in our ticketing system.
Quality Assurance : Conduct quality checks on repaired devices to ensure they meet performance standards. Trend Analysis : Identify and report failure-mode trends to management to help improve overall product reliability.
Collaborate & Learn : Work alongside our Senior Technician, receiving training and mentorship to master our repair processes.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE Diploma or degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technologist, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
2+ years of experience in electronic repair, troubleshooting, or printed circuit boards assembly work (experience in lieu of formal education is acceptable).
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electronic devices , with knowledge of p rinted circuit boards and hand-soldering components.
Familiarity with embedded firmware devices and basic electrical / mechanical systems (an asset). Experience using tools like multimeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues.
Strong understanding of technical documentation and the ability to accurately log repair processes and findings. Proven problem-solving skills , with a proactive approach to identifying trends and addressing recurring issues.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple repair tasks efficiently. Strong verbal and written communication skills , with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
