Sage Recruiting is seeking a Product Analyst to join a SaaS company that develops software for nonprofits and associations.

Our client provides a variety of solutions, including membership management, content management systems, communication tools, event solutions, and more.

They are committed to using innovative technology to deliver outstanding results while offering an exceptional customer experience.

As a member of the Product team, you will bridge the gap between our business and development teams. A resourceful and analytical thinker, you take an agile approach to creating and gathering requirements, analyzing approaches, and building software specifications and use cases for a configurable platform.

You are also able to assess and negotiate the scope of any change and communicate this effectively with both business and technical teams.

What you will be doing :

  • Research and analyze requirements for new and existing features
  • Design and create detailed software specifications and use cases for new features and product updates
  • Conduct gap and competitive analysis to identify the best solutions
  • Assess, negotiate, and plan the scope of work in collaboration with the Product team
  • Write and maintain system documentation in Jira / Confluence
  • Work with QA to design acceptance criteria and conduct user acceptance testing
  • Create wireframes and / or mockups to visualize requirements and product changes

What We Are Looking For :

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst in the software industry (SaaS, ERP, or CRM preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience gathering and translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ideally within a startup
  • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for documentation and issue tracking
  • Post-secondary degree in related field

Nice to Have :

  • Experience creating wireframes and mockups for product features
  • Understanding of financial or accounting concepts is an asset
  • Some technical background to better collaborate with development teams
  • Experience working with membership management systems or similar industries
