Position Overview As the Director of Sales & Marketing, you will be the driving force behind our sales and marketing success, reporting directly to the CEO.
While reporting to the CEO, you will be working in tandem with both the CEO and the company’s executive suite. Your mission is to exceed all sales and marketing goals, leading our dynamic teams across Canada and the USA.
You’ll manage both internal and outsourced marketing resources to deliver outstanding results. Supported by a talented and growing Sales & Estimating team, an in-house Sales & Marketing Coordinator, and expert Marketing & Communications team you’ll foster leadership growth, customer excellence, and a passion for team-driven success.

Calling for architecture and appreciation for glass is an advantage. Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership (80% Focus) Strategic Visionary : Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy in collaboration with the CEO, aligning with our business objectives.
Identify target markets, create pricing strategies, and craft sales tactics to promote our products and services while driving profitable revenue growth .
Team Builder & People Leader : Lead, develop and inspire the Sales team (Outside, Inside Sales, and Estimating) to achieve profitable growth.
Your leadership in recruiting, onboarding, and supporting all team members will be vital to our growth. Foster a high-performing team through effective coaching, mentorship, and recognition.
Expansion Driver : Play a crucial role in expanding our outside sales team in Canada and the USA. Drive sales objectives, uncover new opportunities create new and cherish existing strong client relationships.
Engagement Champion : Make joint calls, client visits, and host events (e.g. Plant tours) with the sales team and partners to support their efforts.
Represent the company at both internal and external social and industry events as well as various associations meetings, building long-term business connections and expanding our legacy.
Internal Connector : Build strong, collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders, including VP of Manufacturing & Operations, Finance team, company owners, partners and others.
Metrics Champion : Develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth, lead the sales team, and set sales targets.
Analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities and collaborate with the CFO to create accurate sales forecasts, ensuring these forecasts align with the company’s financial goals and budgets by integrating market insights and sales data.
Marketing Leadership (20% Focus) Brand Ambassador : Lead the development of sales and marketing materials, providing direction and support for all brand marketing activities.
This includes ownership of sales materials, company website, emails, social media, events, product portfolios, and promotional programs.
Strategic Marketer : Leverage your proven experience in strategic marketing to expand our customer knowledge base, strengthen global partnerships, drive product innovation, and deepen market analysis and competitive intelligence.
Qualifications (Education, Experience, Training) Educational Background : A university or college degree with strong communication skills, ideally in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing.
Industry Expertise : Proven leadership experience in Technical Sales & Marketing, preferably within the Construction, General Contracting, Building Products, Trade Contractors or Architecture industries.
Process Improvement : Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies. Working Conditions This position works primarily in an office environment with occasional time spent within a manufacturing environment.
This position requires regular local travel and occasional international travel. Standard Office : Comfortable indoor area.
Some exposure to dust, dirt or other conditions might produce mild discomfort. Moderate mental demands due to one or more conditions which are present in the job.
