The Burnaby School District is seeking qualified Education Assistants for on-call assignments.Education Assistants are responsible for providing support in the classroom, around the school, and within the community.
Specifically, assistance is provided in the following :
- Behaviour management
- Curriculum implementation
- Social skills development
- Personal care
- Physical assistanceTo be considered, candidates must have the following : Required Qualifications :
- Successful completion of a recognized program in special needs assistance;
- One (1) year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of training and / orexperience.
