Adecco in partnership with a national law firm are currently hiring a full-time versatile and dedicated Legal Assistant specializing in Litigation to join the team in Vancouver, BC.

In this role you will provide essential administrative support to our litigation attorneys, ensuring smooth and efficient case management.

This role requires excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a broad range of responsibilities and challenges that will utilize strong litigation and practice management skills.

Pay Rate : between $60,000 - $75,000 (based on experience)

Location : Vancouver, BC

Job type : Permanent Full-time

Responsibilities :

Practice Administration : Managing email and calendar accounts, electronic / hard copy filing, processing client accounts, and coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.

Document Preparation : Drafting, preparing, amending, proofreading, and serving correspondence, accounts, various litigation documents (e.

g., pleadings, briefs, motion records), and court forms.

Scheduling : Preparing and maintaining a bring-forward system to track court filing dates, meetings, and appointments.

Client Interaction : Filtering incoming calls / mail / email and following up on various information requests, including responding to client queries and ensuring high levels of client service and responsiveness.

Billing : Preparing and amending prebills and sending invoices to clients.

Other Duties : As assigned.

Qualifications :

Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

College Certificate or Diploma, or relevant combination of training and experience.

Minimum 4 years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant.

Experience in superior court litigation files

Strong attention to detail and flexibility to accommodate work demands.

Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.

Proficiency in proofreading and accuracy.

Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise discretion when necessary.
