Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Payroll Administrator to join their team for a 12-month term. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage full-cycle payroll responsibilities while working closely with the Controller to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for the organization.

Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200 + employees (hourly and salaried workers)
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, bonuses, commissions, and overtime.
- Enter and update employee pay information, including tax information, benefit deductions, and wage adjustments.
- Support year end processes such as T4 preparation
- Respond to employee questions regarding their pay, timesheets, benefits, etc.;
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee payroll records are maintained
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years experience in a payroll position
- A Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration or similar field of study
- PCP certification would be considered an asset
- Experience working in Ceridian Dayforce
- Intermediate level MS Excel
- Strong communication skills
