As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be a key player in building and maintaining relationships between our vendors and various departments within Bison.
Specific responsibilities include :
- Processing invoices for payment,
- Creating cheque and EFT payment batches,
- Reconciling vendor statements and taking vendor inquiries,
- Reconciling credit card transactions and out-of-pocket expense reports.
Our Ideal Candidate will possess :
- Education in Accounting or 2 3 years related experience in Accounts Payable / Finance.
- Detail oriented with a passion for working with numbers and data entry.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Adaptable.
- Ability to work in both a team environment and individually.
- PC skills Windows, MS Office Suite, Excel, Great Plains accounting software.
- Experience with Great Plains considered to be an asset.
Position is subject to a flexible Monday to Friday work schedule.
