Responsible for all facets of day-to-day sales of Company products in assigned branch or region. Responsible for implementing sales strategies and achieving personal and group sales objectives related to technical / consulting sales.
Strives for customer satisfaction.In addition to annual initiatives, the key accountabilities of this position are : Responsibilities Support pre-sales activities to convert customers’ requirements into detailed solutions, quotations, and orders.
Working closely with consulting engineering firms design teams at an early / design stage of the projects to provide them design support for getting Armstrong product specified as basis of design (BOD).
Conducting virtual and face to face lunch and learns and technical sessions with the design engineers on Armstrong products, solutions, and controls.
Providing equipment engineering selections support to all the assigned CE firms during the project design stage. Face to Face meetings and calling on all the key stack holders within the CE firms on a regular basis to find out info.
on the current and new projects, they are working on and providing them design support as and when they need it. Finding out project award status to the mechanical contracting firms so that the contracting sales team member can start working with the contracting account.
Collaborate and working closely with the contacting and WPD sales team members on the awarded projects submittals, submittal reviews, addressing submittal review comments follow ups etc.
Develop and maintain good working relationships with consulting engineering community. Utilize sales tools effectively (CRM, Adept Selection software, POMA, KAM etc.
to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunity within accounts. Supports special tasks / projects assigned by the management.
Active participation in industry events, trade shows, conferences etc. Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering program.
4-5 years of Engineering / Technical Sales experience in HVAC industry within Canada, Pumping / Hydronics industry experience is a plus.
Sound knowledge of HVAC products and Systems. Hands on experience on HVAC products selection software. PC literate, and high-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be self-motivated to achieve annual goals and objectives. Demonstrated ability to influence customer’s key decision makers.
Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory. Excellent writing, communication & presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
