Are you a seasoned IT Project Manager with a passion for infrastructure integration? Our Calgary client is looking for a senior IT Project Manager to lead and manage a suite of critical IT infrastructure projects within their IT integration program.

This role requires a strong background in infrastructure domains, including data center compute and storage, network architecture, desktop and mobility services, and IT operations.

Experience with business application software development (SDLC) is also an asset, as you may oversee projects with software development components.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycles for key integration initiatives within the IT infrastructure program.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with our client's strategic goals.
  • Develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize impact on timelines and deliverables.
  • Work with technical teams to maintain high standards in areas like data center, network, and mobility services.
  • Provide regular project updates, performance metrics, and key insights to senior management.
  • Ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation for all phases of the projects to support future maintenance and audits.

Qualifications

Experience with IT Infrastructure projects and projects deploying or upgrading in one or more of the following domains :

oData Centre / Compute / Storage infrastructure (aka servers virtual / hypervisor)

oNetwork and supporting services (Layer 2 / 3, DNS / DHCP / Firewall / NAC)

oDesktop (Desktop image, print / fax)

oMobility services (Mobile Device Management)

oDatabase

oOperations (Monitoring, ITIL / ServiceNow)

Experience with business application software development (SDLC) would be of value as some projects may involve software development.
