What are your contributions to the team?
- Manage the conflict of interest process and follow up on disclosures and action plans with various managers.
- Act as a point of contact and answer various questions related to conflicts of interest for all Bombardier locations.
- Prepare quarterly compliance risk reports for each organization.
- Follow up on action plans and mitigation measures for compliance risks identified within the company and ensure their implementation.
- Identify and implement measures to mitigate E&C risks and prepare the necessary documentation accordingly.
- Support the E&C team in the implementation of new processes and programs, as well as existing processes (for example : gifts and entertainment, donations, due diligence, etc.).
- Regularly introduce the E&C team and the general ethics and compliance principles to new Bombardier employees and trainee groups (in-person and virtual presentations).
- Proactively identify and implement improvements to the Ethics and Compliance program by promoting alignment among stakeholders.
- Act as E&C expert on various major corporate initiatives and projects.
- Support the E&C Team in the implementation of corporate compliance initiatives.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience :
- You have a bachelor's degree in law, business administration or other relevant field.
- You have a minimum of 9 to 10 years' relevant professional experience in compliance, risk or legal in a similar sector.
- You have experience in conducting risk assessments and implement mitigation actions.
- You have excellent knowledge of, or a keen interest in, applicable ethics and compliance practices and principles.
- You have strong project and process management skills and demonstrated leadership abilities.
- You have the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of the company and maintain good working relationships with members of the business units and management.
- You are comfortable in a deadline-driven, results-oriented environment, and are able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
- You have strong writing skills in French and English (bilingualism is essential), as well as excellent communication and simplification skills.
- You have an excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
