This position can be on-site, remote or a combination of both . These duties would include, but are not limited to : - Managing accounts payable and receivable with precision- Conducting full general ledger accounting to ensure financial accuracy- Administering payroll and maintaining meticulous financial records- Generating monthly financial reports for the Education Committee- Performing monthly bank reconciliations and overseeing cash flow administration- Providing support for year-end accounting and audit preparation- Implementing financial control measures to maintain compliance and accuracy- Releasing monthly tuition payments through BMO- Generating invoices for the school and after-school club- Producing T4s, yearly tuition receipts, and tax receipts-Serving as a liaison for staff benefits and pensions- Collaborating with the Parent Education Committee (PEC) on fundraising initiatives- Providing monthly reports to the PEC to track progress and outcomes- Assisting in the preparation of preliminary and final budgets- Calculating the yearly "magic number" for financial planning purposes- Facilitating weekly bank deposits and managing payroll deductions Preference will be given to those who have knowledge within the CISVA School system.
