The Clerk will assist students and Educators with book circulation, finding suitable and appropriate level books, research on the NNDSB Virtual Library, use of the Online Library Catalogue and Education Technology related tools and software.
Qualifications : Minimum Grade 12 education 1 to 3 years clerical experience, preferably in an educational library Skills Required : Strong computer and keyboarding skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, email and education technology related tools and devices Competency in library technical skills within an automated environment Familiar with Dewey Decimal System and general library procedures Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Excellent communications skills, both written and oral : the ability to communicate and work effectively with students and staff Must be able to work with minimal supervision Safe carrying and lifting of boxes is required for this position Rate of Pay : $18.
