Platform based support. Day to day, project activities and production support. We build and we support them.
Target Start Date : ASAP
Duration : 6 Month
Potential for this contract to be extended or converted to FTE? Extension very likely. Multiyear project.
Remote / Hybrid : Hybrid / / Monday - weekly. Moving into '24, adding an additional day second Friday of every month.
Office Location : Downtown Toronto
Work Schedule (hours per week, start time) : 37.50 / hr / / Day / / 8-4 / / 9-5
Potential for OT? Reviewed case by case basis, but there is potential.
Interview Process : there will be 3 people interviewing. The manager and their tech lead. 1 round of interviews. Done mostly through teams but potential for coming into office.
There is a preference for in person interviews if available.
job description :
- Providing technical expertise for small to medium complex projects and initiatives as they relate to the implementation and support of application and infrastructure technology for a multi-platform environment including : Enterprise Data Hub (EDH), Enterprise Data Gateway Environment (EDGE), and Customer Experience Data Platform (CxDP).
- Communicating electronically and in-person (when required) with application and infrastructure technology end-users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems experienced.
- Evaluating service requests to ensure adherence to standards and processes, identifying inconsistencies, analyzing potential impacts, and taking appropriate actions.
- Escalating more complex issues and concerns, along with providing alternative recommendations for resolution to the next level.
- Identifying and resolving small to medium complex production problems for support of applications reported end-users.
- Providing advice and training to end-users in response to identified difficulties in the application and infrastructure technology.
- Coordinating and executing implementation plans for new small to medium complexity application and maintenance updates.
- Monitoring and analyzing supported services to identify opportunities for improvement and recommending solutions.
- Collecting, organizing, and maintaining the knowledge base for use by other technical support analysts and improvement of mean-time-to-resolution (MTTR).
Must have skills :
- Experience doing on Prem to cloud (Azure) migrations -Infrastructure experience -Unix Experience -Ability to manage high volumes and multitask efficiently -Experience with communicating / collaborating with stakeholders
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
Nice to have skills :
- Experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory -IT Education or certifications -Experience managing shared services -Service Now -Build and release experience -dev ops experience
- previous financial industry experience
