Notre client, une PME privée d’entrepreneur général et de gestion de construction basée à Montréal, est à la recherche d’un Chargé de projets en construction.
Résumé du poste :
Le Gestionnaire de projets planifie, organise, dirige et contrôle toutes les activités liées au projet de construction. Il est responsable de l'exécution des projets en respectant les délais et les contraintes budgétaires.
De plus, il effectue toutes autres tâches connexes et divers mandats assignés par son superviseur immédiat.
Gestion de projet :
- Assister à la gestion des projets en cours en veillant au respect des échéanciers, des coûts et de la qualité.
- Communiquer avec les partenaires commerciaux et les membres de l'équipe concernant les projets nouveaux et en cours.
- Établir et maintenir des relations de travail avec les fournisseurs et les sous-traitants.
- Aider à la préparation des calendriers de projet.
- Préparer les avis de changement, y compris la détermination de l’étendue des travaux en dehors du contrat, inviter les sous-traitants à soumissionner, analyser les soumissions reçues et préparer le prix final pour présentation au client.
- Faire le suivi des communications techniques.
- Planifier et confirmer les livraisons de matériaux.
- Contrôler les dessins d’atelier.
- S’assurer du respect des directives de chantier.
- Suivre l'avancement et le budget de divers projets.
- Communiquer avec différents intervenants pour mener à bien les projets.
Qualifications et compétences :
- Diplôme en génie électrique ou expérience exceptionnelle dans des projets électriques commerciaux.
- 3 à 5 ans d'expérience en gestion de projets commerciaux.
- Connaissance des bâtiments et de la construction.
- Excellentes compétences en gestion du temps et en planification.

Position Summary :
The Project Manager plans, organizes, directs, and controls all activities related to the construction project. They are responsible for executing projects while adhering to timelines and budget constraints.
Additionally, they perform any other related tasks and various assignments as required by their immediate supervisor.
Project Management :
- Assist in managing ongoing projects by ensuring adherence to deadlines, costs, and quality.
- Communicate with business partners and team members regarding new and ongoing projects.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Assist in preparing schedules.
- Prepare change notices, including determining the scope of work outside the contract, inviting subcontractors to bid, analyzing bids received from subcontractors, and preparing the final price for presentation to the client.
- Follow up on technical communications.
- Schedule and confirm material deliveries.
- Control shop drawings.
- Ensure compliance with site directives.
- Monitor progress and budget for various projects.
- Communicate with different stakeholders to successfully complete projects.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Degree in electrical engineering or exceptionally strong experience in commercial electrical projects.
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial project management.
- Knowledge of building and construction.
- Strong time management and scheduling skills.
